Cute, cute, cute! Great job of decor! Lots of plants and little touches make SUCH a difference!
I'm thinking the little cafe curtains in the breakfast area are yours, yes? I love the fact that the wood furniture matches the wood floor. I didn't remember the floor was light and I love it ~ makes room look bigger.
I know the place was clean and freshly painted BUT that is really just the start, the background. Your "appointments" make the point well ~ this is a cute, cozy cottage.

Thank You, Thank You, THANK YOU!!! I wanted to update you on my home that you staged last week and include a little history about the property.
As you're aware I am an experienced Real Estate Agent. To be honest I thought I knew all the tricks of the trade on how to move a property quickly-WRONG! I listed my own house back in the summer and had it on the market for over 90 days. Several showings, a total of 60 plus, and no offer. In desperation I searched the internet in my area for a professional who could be objective and assist me in getting my home sold. I came across your "Stage With Style". Now to be honest, I was impressed with you from the start. I spoke to you directly, and you were at my house within 24 hours and had it ready to go within 48 hours of our first appointment. I turned over my keys and 6 hours later the transformation, the best word I can use to describe it, was "INCREDIBLE". My house looked awesome and I questioned why I was even selling after seeing the results!
Now to the best part (are you sitting down)? My house SOLD IN 4 DAYS! Ya Hoo! Not with one offer but with 2 full-list offers! I put it back on the market after being off for 4 months. Not only did it sell in 4 days, it sold in the worse market time of year, going into the Holidays! The reason the Buyer decided on the house is because of the display on the 2nd floor landing made of the Christmas Tree and gift packages! Dear Diane Howard,
Thank you for the "staging" you did for my listing. Though it is a beautiful home, your artistic eye and ability to look at it objectively gave this home a needed uplift.
You re-arranged the owners' furniture in a way that gives the living room, sun room and family room a warmer and more welcoming ambiance. We no longer have everything lined up around the walls like little soldiers.
By retrieving hidden items from closets and re-appropriating art and family treasures to different areas, you added focus and balance where needed. Adding your own little touches with the items such as silk flowers that you brought helped to fill in where "something" was needed.
My seller was at first reluctant and certainly questioned how you could improve his property. I'm thrilled he gave you the opportunity to wave your magic wand. He is now into the spirit of "staging". With each showing, he turns on all the lights, lights the fireplace and calls me to report on how great it will look when the prospective buyers enter the front door.
